It is modern day South Africa. The country ails from social unrest and constant protests. One of the many bearing witness to this time is Amanda, a young woman from Mpophomeni Township, who struggles to take care of her sick mother whilst trying to overcome the trauma of a sexual assault.

A desperate music producer finds himself enthralled by a mysterious gold disc known as The Piece, rumored to hold the greatest song ever created. As he becomes consumed by its allure, he must confront the dangerous forces determined to keep it a myth.
