Gerald has a nosebleed and is used to violence. In his attempt not to face reality, he just keeps moving forward. But everything has a limit, the city and the night confront him and even if he tries to escape again, the break will be inevitable.
Laura usually visits her grandparents, Domingo and Norma, in the nursing home. When quarantine sets in, Norma dies of natural causes. Her death strikes Laura deeply and she fears for her grandfather's condition. But Domingo, in a moment of lucidity, teaches her about life and love.
