An unlikely friendship forms when a fifteen-year-old graphic designer helps his stubborn grandmother digitally color her old black-and-white photos. But as they bicker and bond through each photo, they soon realize that memories are anything, but black-and-white.

To cope with his mother’s death, Anton, a graduating college student, adopts a pet fish - only to slowly discover how his grief and loneliness causes his emotions to grow more intense as strange fishlike traits appear around his body.
