Seventeen-year-old Sangaile is fascinated by stunt planes. She meets a girl her age at the summer aeronautical show, nearby her parents' lakeside villa. Sangaile allows Auste to discover her most intimate secret and in the process finds in her teenage love, the only person that truly encourages her to fly.
This delicately-rendered live action narrative follows the story of a ten-year-old boy and budding entomologist named Juozapas, who was born with his heart outside of his chest. Can Rugile, the fearless new girl in town, help Juozapas gain courage and acceptance to overcome exclusion and the insensitivity of the people around them?
The storyline begins with Muza's childhood in the grip of the Soviet occupation regime. After winning the Liszt-Bartok International Piano Competition in Budapest, Muza starts receiving invitations to perform at Europe's foremost concert halls, but, alas, the Iron Curtain descends and she is no longer allowed to go abroad. Muza finally gets her chance in 1989 when the Soviet Union begins to collapse. Hard work eventually brings international recognition. The film depicts Muza's renewed battle with isolation as she is once again not fully able to perform due to the pandemic.

This film is a visualisation of human duality, of the internal personal struggle, constant in both art and life. The documentary paints a portrait of each woman as a contemporary heroine fighting against adversity while at the same time tenaciously working towards their dreams and personal legends.
