Με βάση το πρώτο βιβλίο των μπεστ σέλερ της σειράς θρίλερ Jussi Adler-Olsen THE KEEPER OF LOST CAUSES αφηγείται την ιστορία των δύο αστυνομικών Καρλ Mørck και Άσαντ που εμπλέκονται σε μια πενταετή υπόθεση σχετικά με μια χαμένη γυναίκα,και ψυχίατρο Merete.
