In a flat at the outskirt of Jakarta, Ningsih (Chika Waode) is happy because she is about to get married with Hamid (Jimmy). But Hamid never comes and the marriage is cancelled. Ningsih intends to kill herself by jumping from the height of the flat but Yuli Gaga (Julia Perez) sees her, in surprise screaming out her name. Surprised herself, Ningsih slips off and falls down to her death. Four students Aldi (Vicky Nitinegoro), Justin (Christopher), Ragil (Dhawan Khai) and Amir (Bobby Maulana) rent Ningsih’s ex room with a good price. They find Ningsih’s personal belongings left there, and upon seeing her photographs they jeer over the fact that she’s not beautiful and has buck teeth. This offends Ningsih’s spirit and she goes to haunt them. She returns in the form of a pocong.

Three teen couples are making an amateur horror movie titled "Dikejar Setan", for an indie film festival. To capture audience attention, they want a real ghost in the scenes. So they hire a ghost whisperer in the film production. Slowly, reality and hallucination haunt them, blurring the boundaries between the past, and present. Then they are all implicated in a crime event that took place some time ago, that had many victims. The terror of "death" is now after them.

Ruli and Mili are brother and sister who live in suburb of Jakarta Mega City with his father who became a single parent. They live their life full of joy .. Ruli who have a nice voice works as a waitress at a coffee shop. Mili who like drawing always follow wherever his brother go. In the middle efforts to help his father find additional costs, he met Chika, daughter of Mrs. Waita which became part of the disaster. Unexpectedly encounter them develop into true friendship and deep spiritual relationship until they become trio together with Mili.

Eight stories are interwoven including the story of a child who works hard just to get a bottle of clean water and a pair of roller skates. Then there are siblings who sell pirated DVDs and start fighting each other when the younger one only wants to drink Starbucks coffee. The third story is about the daughter of a prostitute who has a crush on her moral studies teacher. Then we meet a Japanese man who is hungry for true love and meets a karaoke girl and we hear the story of a lowly-paid television director who is looking to escape the pressures from his wife and boss. Then there is the story of a female kindergarten principal who is trying to apply the Islamic way of life to defuse the temptations of the material world; or the tale of an expatriate’s former chauffeur who gets into trouble after receiving a farewell gift from the boss.
