«کول یانگ» یک مبارز ام‌ام‌ای است که به تحمل ضربات سخت برای دریافت پول خو گرفته اما از میراث خود یا اینکه چرا امپراطور «شانگ سونگ» بهترین جنگجویش «ساب-زیرو» را برای به دام انداختنش فرستاده آگاهی ندارد. کول برای محافظت از خانواده‌اش با راهنمایی «جکس» سرهنگ نیروهای ویژه که مانند او با نشان اژدهای عجیبی به دنیا آمده، «سونیا بلید» را جستجو می‌کند. دیری نمی‌گذرد که کول خودش را در معبد «لرد ریدن» می‌یابد، یک «خدای ارشد» و محافظ «ارث‌رلم» که به دارندگان نشان اژدها پناه می‌دهد. کول در آن‌جا توسط جنگجویانی باتجربه مانند «لیو کانگ»، «کونگ لائو» و «کانو» آموزش می‌بیند تا آماده‌ی نبرد با دشمنان «اوت‌ورلد» شود.

Randy Cunningham: 9th Grade Ninja is an American animated television series created by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas for Disney XD. It is produced by Titmouse, Inc. and Boulder Media Limited. Many of the character designs were supplied by Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim. The series premiered on September 17, 2012.

The story takes place in the year 1614. Two ninja clans, Tsubagakure of the Iga and Manjidani of Kouga, battle each other to determine which grandson of Tokugawa Ieyasu will become the next shogun. The deadly competition between 10 elite ninja from each clan unleashes a centuries-old hatred that threatens to destroy all hope for peace between them.

When awkward pre-teen Hunter and her patch-work family enter into a life of new-found celebrity and move to a posh neighborhood, she is distraught. She hates this snobbish village filled with brats and bullies. To make matters worse, her stepfather hires a nanny, Farah, to look after the kids while Hunter feels lonely and neglected. One day though, things suddenly change. A mysterious ninja saves her from the bullies - turns out that was her nanny. Hunter resolves to become a ninja master herself and discovers that if you really want something, you have to go all the way to achieve it.
