What happens when an uncontrollable virus turns the living into the living dead?

An oft-mocked professor becomes obsessed with finding the Demonicron, a book said to open the gates of hell. Pushed over the edge after being fired, the professor locates the book and uses it to conjure the demons found within its pages to get revenge on those who've ridiculed him.
