J.K., a hotel Manager and Aarti, daughter of a politician, fall in love and get married. Their relationship starts to sour when Aarti starts harbouring ambitions of becoming a politician. J.K. hates the idea and they eventually seperate. After many years J.K. and Aarti meet again when she is an established politician. Songs include "Is mod se jaatey hai"; "Tere bina zindagi se koi shikva toh nahin;" and "Tum aa gaye ho" noor aa gaya hai" sung by Kishore Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar
