"The Night Before Christmas" is a Russian puppet cartoon that was created by director Ekaterina Mikhailova at the studio "AnimaFilm" of the Moscow Children's Fund with the support of Goskino in 1997.

Based on the fairy tale by the English writer Donald Bisset "About a tiger cub whose stripes disappeared". The story is about a tiger cub who was born without stripes, but because of this did not become a stranger either to his own mother or to the world around him.
