Džeks Skellingtons ir Helovīntaunas ķirbju karalis, kam ir apnicis katru gadu Helovīnos darīt vienu un to pašu. Kādu dienu viņš nokļūst Ziemassvētku pilsētā un tā aizraujas ar šiem svētkiem, ka nolemj tos adaptēt savā pilsētā, apvienojot ar Helovīna svētkiem.
