In the life of TV presenter Lisa, everything revolves around her talk show, celebrities and the ratings. There is just as little room for love as there is for her mother Maria. While Fred is hired as an assistant by the Greek on-board magician Costa, Lisa and Maria have to work in room service. The crossing soon takes surprising turns for mother and daughter: Maria falls in love with the charming dancer Otto, who supposedly knows her from before, and Lisa takes a liking to the widowed statistician Axel Staudach, who is traveling with his son Florian.

The summer break is over and the twins returned to Lindenhof. That has now changed a lot. Because Mrs Theobald had to travel, Mademoiselle Bertoux has taken the lead.

Hanni and Nanni are not only sisters, but also best friends. The twins are inseparable and always up to something. When they cause a wild chase through a department store, their wealthy parents have had it: They send the girls to the posh boarding school Lindenhof in order to teach them some manners. While sweet-tempered Nanni quickly makes new friends, the impulsive Hanni has a hard time accustoming herself.

Weimar, 1921. The life of 20-year-old Lotte Brendel seems to be predetermined. The Weimar Bauhaus, under the direction of the visionary Walter Gropius, aspires not only to combine arts and crafts, but also to find the place for the "New Man". In the student Paul Seligmann Lotte finds a supporter and her great love.
