Two of Popeye's nephews get caught playing with fireworks on the Fourth of July. Popeye takes them away, and they spend the rest of the picture trying to get them back (mostly by getting Popeye away from them).

Scat the Cat is chasing a mouse through a novelty store.

Honey is baking a cake for Fraidy Bat's birthday. Misunderstanding what he meant when he said "the main ingredient in cake is love", she adds love potion to the cake. Cousin Maggie takes a bite of the cake and precedes to fall in love with Stanley the Wizard, who just showed up at the door. Maggie begins chasing Stanley around the forest while Honey and Fraidy prepare an antidote (which turns out to be Honey's tears). Maggie is turned back to normal; unfortunately Stanley eats a slice of Honey's cake while hiding inside the house and the first person he sees is Cousin Maggie...

Popeye and Olive board a run-down ship, which turns out to be haunted.

Casper the Friendly Ghost attends a premiere of one of his own cartoons and is interviewed in the lobby. He is asked how he happened to become a movie star, and gives a lively account of his Hollywood venture.

Sir Blur was Famous Studios' answer to Mr. Magoo in that he was another nearsighted fellow who mistakes something or someone for something else.

Percy, a meek little guy, goes to a jewelry shop to have his watch fixed. Crooked jeweler Ralph smashes the watch with a hammer, telling Percy that it's out of style. He then proceeds to sell Percy a cuckoo clock with a little dead bird, which Percy replaces with a baby eagle (feeding it super eagle food). Percy goes away, and when the eagle begins to grow, it's too much for him. He returns the clock, and he and the eagle attack Ralph.

Wise guy Jeepers tries to "help" pal Creepers get a raise from his boss.

The bumbling duo of Swifty and Shorty- a fast-talking con man and his fat, gullible friend, much in the style of Abbott and Costello- have trouble setting the clock on top of the old Paramount building in New York.

Popeye opens a diner; Bluto pulls one up right across the street. Wimpy comes along, and they compete for his business. The competition escalates, until finally they are throwing things at each other; Wimpy stands between them and snags a complete meal from the stream of objects passing overhead. Another spinach-free Popeye.

Bluto muscles out Popeye to take Olive to the fair. Popeye rushes ahead and poses as a fortune teller, luring Olive in. He shows Olive her future (actually, her past) in the crystal ball.

The story of Geronimo, an American indian, and his brother.

A mother hen hatches a dinosaur egg which has fallen out of a truck from an archaeological expedition, and raises the dinosaur, Danny, along with her own chicks. When the farmer sells the dinosaur to a circus, both Danny and the chicken family are heartbroken until they find a way to be together again.
