Заплет филма заснован је на еколошкој катастрофи коју је изазвао Хомер Симпсон неодговорним бацањем отпада у спрингфилдско језеро. Спрингфилд је и иначе најзагађенија средина у земљи, а Хомеров чин је кап која прелива чашу па председник Шварценегер, по наговору директора ЕПА ( Агенција за заштиту околине), доноси одлуку да цео град стави у карантин (под куполу) и тиме спречи проширење загађења на целу земљу.

Роберт је угледни корпоративни адвокат који читаву каријеру заступа велике компаније хемијске индустрије. Једног дана у канцеларију му долази човек који тврди да је читав један град загађен хемијским нуспродуктима који погубно делују на животиње и људе.

The Barbaric Machine Clan “Gaiark” was exiled from the Machine World by the Engines, who are huge machines that have their own will. With the exile, the Gaiark switched their target to the world of humans and attacked to pollute the Earth in order to make it more habitable for them. This is when three young individuals with hearts of justice stand up as Go-Ongers.

The Oblongs are not so much dysfunctional as slightly nonfunctional. Living next to a polluted swamp has left them with the occasional missing limb or mysterious growth, but through it all, this close-knit family sticks together.Sometimes literally.

The series focuses on a rare species of little bears with wings that live in the magical forest in a utopian cooperative community. The little flying bears together with their friends, took on themselves the task to defend their forest from pollution. However, their efforts, very often, are disturbed by two weasels, Skulk and Sammy, which strive to pollute the forest. Every so often the weasels receive help from Slink the snake. The three always strive to find new ways to disturb the harmony of the forest but their plans are destroyed always by the bears. The bears are always attentive to the advices of the old bear, Plato (who is too old to fly) and his friend Ozzy the owl. This cartoon helps children realize the importance of protecting the environment. The series shows the harmful effects of pollution and fires as well as the important role of the ecosystem.

This was the only one of the four that had a futuristic basis. It was set perhaps a couple of decades ahead in a world being slowly drowned by technology, a world in which traffic jams are the norm instead of the exception, and where the people avoid getting caught in the rain for better reasons than simply not wanting to get wet. The Rachel of the title is the younger sister of an up-and-coming marketing executive who has just secured a contract with a wealthy but repulsive millionaire who is into toxic waste, which he stores in secret for large sums of money. Rachel finds that, through a large bank of video screens in her sister's apartment, her wishes can come true when she brings to life the image on an anti-pollution poster. This new friend helps her to make up her mind about her own future. The style of the production was fresh and colourful, the pace slow and moody for the most part, and it made for an interesting half-hour's viewing.
