Shuichi Nitori transfers to a new elementary school, and there, meets Yoshino Takatsuki. The two children discover they share a similar secret.

The series follow the life of Michiru Aida, a beauty parlor assistant who returns to Tokyo after 4 years. They graduated from the same school. Tadaomi Goto is flustered by Miki's different appearance, but they happen to live together.

Dr. Marci Bowers performs the surgeries and calls upon her own experiences as a transgender woman to guide her patients as they go through the ultimate life changing procedure.
