A lonely beach on the southernmost coast of Brazil is the scene for two friends, on the brink of adulthood, to explore their understanding of themselves and one another. Martin has been sent by his father to retrieve what appears to be an inheritance-related document from the family of his recently deceased and estranged grandfather. Tomaz accompanies him, seemingly hoping to regain some of their former closeness. The two boys shelter themselves in a glass house, in front of a cold and stormy sea.

Pedro earns a living in chat rooms. He transforms himself into NeonBoy in front of the webcam. Slowly, this young man dips his fingers into pots of coloured paint and glides them across his naked body. But things change when Pedro notices that somebody is imitating his performances. He agrees to go on a date with his mysterious rival. This rendezvous will have far-reaching consequences.

In a rural village colonized by Germans, little Ana watches a play about the history of the Thiltapes. It is a dangerous animal that lives in the forest, and no one knows its real form. Two hundred years earlier, a botanist who writes about the region hears about this same animal. The stories intertwine, both in an obsessive search for the imaginary Thiltapes, while at the same time facing their own demons: the weakened botanist eager for a discovery that will justify his trip and Ana intrigued by her father, suspected of having committed a brutal crime against a neighbor’s cow.

Pedro's sister is moving out, and the rooms are getting bigger.

Isolated in an old and gloomy house, Tomaz and Martin spend their days in a tedious routine. One morning, Martin finds a young girl dead in the bathroom.

A woman sings of longing in the past, a girl meets somebody unexpected in the present. The club's tower saw everything since the beginning.
