The porter of the hotel is trying to keep his sanity when two guests who share both looks and name check in. He's also unaware that his new bell boy is actually the owner's daughter in disguise.

The fishermen Österman and Sjöberg are sued by merchant Wikström. In order to raise capital, they decide to start producing a medicine from a recipe by Österman's father.

Algot and Bengt have built a house together. But they can not agree on how ownership should be distributed between them. In addition they don't get any mail since the Post office refuse to hand it out.
