Mister Rogers opens with a visit to the Neighborhood resturaunt where Audrey Roth happily shows him to his seat. After talking about table settings and other common things found at a resturaunt, Mister Rogers orders a sandwich with cheese, lettuce, and tomato on whole wheat. He gladly accepts an offer to visit the resturaunt's kitchen and watch as the chef prepares his sandwich.
In the Neighborhood of Make-Believe, preparations for the royal picnic continue as new instructions from King Friday are being delivered. Working together, Lady Aberlin and Henrietta Pussycat find an opening in the wall between Corney's factory and the Museum Go-Round. Through the passage, they find a garden with a fruit tree at its center. As they pick the fruit, X the Owl arrives with instructions to make a fruit salad.
