The Cybertrons pick up an SOS from the exile planet Dallos and head there to investigate. The Headmasters move out to investigate and discover that the Destrons have attacked an energy plant.
The Headmasters take a group of the people back to Fortress Maximus. When they arrive, one of them grabs Daniel as hostage, threatening him with a knife. Daniel manages to break free, and subdues his would be kidnapper, while Fortress traps the others in a forcefield. When questioned, the group tells the Cybertrons about how one small group in the southern hemisphere controls the whole planet and that the people are suffering greatly.
The Cybertrons investigate further and discover that the Destrons have been working with the leaders to build a huge cannon on the planet. Meanwhile, Chromedome and Highbrow head into a canyon to find a Battle Beast who was part of the team that who built Megazarak and was exiled to the Dallos.
