CORAL decides to accept KWONG’s courtship, and boldly expresses her feelings to an overjoyed KWONG. She seeks to patch things up with MON, but MON is unmoved by her gesture and voices her opposition. CHING learns that KWONG and CORAL are dating each other and lashes out at KWONG. CORAL jumps at his defense. KWONG fondly recollects past events, but CORAL is frustrated by the void in her memory. KWONG urges CORAL to leave the triad and promises to give up everything to start anew in a foreign land with her. KWAN again hatches a scheme to sow discord between the lovers, by misleading CORAL to believe that KWONG is exploiting her in his investigation. Disheartened, CORAL seeks to kill KWONG; BRAVO’s life is hanging by a thread as he has taken the bullet meant for KWONG. Incognizant of KWAN’s manipulation of CORAL, KWONG vows to deliver her to the law.
