SEUNG-LING returns to the palace with regard to MUK-DO-YEE's marriage, and the two finally mend fences between them, developing a genuine mother-daughter relationship. Lady YUE-YUET meets SEUNG-LING, shirking all the responsibility of arranging MUK-DO-YEE's marriage to BA-CHA. In addition, she is concerned about SEUNG-LING's experience during her disappearance after leaving the palace. As such, SEUNG-LING discloses everything to Lady YUE-YUET. After seeing a snuff bottle, Lady YUE-YUET verifies it with YEE-HO and confirms it belongs to LAU-FEI, so she comes up with another plan to evict LAU-FEI.
