TSIN no longer needs to kowtow to LUI upon his return to Ng. YUET NUI has accidentally injured FUNG in the woods. She offers to dress his wound and lets him go afterwards. SZE and CHAI go out for a walk, during which an assassin, who is believed to be a citizen of Yuet, appears suddenly. SZE is taken hostage but LAI manages to save her. LAI is seriously hurt while SZE has suffered slight injuries. To suppress his feelings for SZE, LAI asks to stay in Yuet for recuperation until he makes a full recovery. CHAI agrees to his request. LAI comes to Ying Ha Valley to find YUET NUI. FUNG tries to locate the whereabouts of LAI as instructed by SHUI. FUNG finds out that LAI is staying at Ying Ha Valley. LAI asks YUET NUI about FUNG and she replies that FUNG does not look like a villain. FUNG goes...
