SHUNG agrees with FANG that one has to uphold one’s principle since this incident. YIU goes to see SHUNG and SOU at the steaming room and asks them to prepare for making “cinnamon fragrance”. CHEUNG is very dissatisfied. HUAN and FANG become enemies since FUNG’s case. YIU notices that their relationship has deteriorated. YIU then invites FANG to work in the fermenting section. LUNG agrees. The workers reject FANG. CHEUNG breaks the wine pot filling with cinnamon fragrance. YIU is very upset. All are dissatisfied with CHEUNG and refuse to work. YIU does not want to affect the smooth operation of the wine factory and asks the workers to resume duty. YIU works very hard to keep her sorrow under control. She is so exhausted that she faints.
