FUNG’s arm has a wolf tattoo, a tattoo every TAI’s emissary has. With a view to repaying MAN’s kindness, he cuts the arm off. He passes out as soon as he has done so. MAN is at his wit’s end as to how to deal with TAI. FUNG and YEUNG are very happy with their reclusive life. But when he learns that TAI’s troops are already on their way to the capital, he wants to return to the capital to help MAN. YEUNG tells him to come back before she is due to deliver.
