Gangadhar and Laxmibai begin the race. Marshall waits with bated breath to see the end of Laxmibai. Laxmibai takes the flag and throws it at the finish point. There is a huge explosion. Laxmibai is heart broken but Moropant tells her to go to the camp as Gangadhar awaits her. Marshall meets Gangadhar and tells him that Samar Singh and his gang were responsible for the conspiracy.
