Nelson bribes Samar Singh with freedom by asking him to confess about Laxmibai's role in releasing him. However, Samar spits on Nelson. Nelson continues to torture Samar and Karma so much that they collapse. Laxmibai meets John Lang for the first time. She requests John to save Samar and Karma, and John agrees. On the other hand, Gangadhar asks Raghunath to find out where Laxmibai has gone with Tatya Tope, and why.
