Laxmibai is totally shattered to see Tatya Guru's dead body. She declares that she can no longer fight this battle. Rao Dulajo informs Ladai Sarkar that Laxmibai will not fight the battle anymore. Ladai Sarkar is delighted that she will be able to capture Jhansi soon, and invites Rao Dulajo for the celebrations. On the other hand, Ladai Sarkar vows to Tatya Tope that he will become the commander of her army, but he promises to sing praises only of Laxmibai. Ladai Sarkar then informs him that Laxmibai was mourning his death. However, Tatya Tope warns Ladai Sarkar that Laxmibai will surely come in search of him.
